DESCRIPTION:Maple Syrup Gathering  \nMarch 5th\, 2023\, visit Chiefswood Park for a Maple Syrup Gathering from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.!\nEnjoy a delicious pancake breakfast and learn both traditional and modern methods for gathering and preparing maple syrup. Nestled along the Grand River in the Carolinian Forest\, Chiefswood Park is the perfect place to see how generations before us have honed their syrup-making skills; tree identification\, tapping\, sap collection and more! Enjoy a boiling demonstration\, crafts\, candy\, s’mores\, and visit our Indigenous vendors in a sweet\, maple marketplace.\n\nMore details\nTickets\nEach $15 adults\, $5 for kids under 10yrs (Early Bird)\n$20 adults\, $8 for kids under 10yrs\n$10 adults ( No breakfast) Kids under 10yrs free\n\nLocation:\nThe pancake breakfast will be served in our new upper pavilion.\nMaple tree demonstration/ boiling will start over at the cabins.\nCrafts will be at the Park Office\n\nItinerary\n10:00-11:30am: Pancake Breakfast includes 2 pancakes\, bacon or sausage\, syrup with a drink.
